Do you ever wonder why a lot of establishments now want to make sure your hands are washed and clean. But if they really cared would they have the handles on the doors to the bathroom on the inside of their facilities. Or why they don't condone the use of paper towels, but provide you with a bacteria riddled hand dryer instead.
Even if the door is properly equiped for ease of removing yourself from the washroom without touching a door handle or door knob, by simply pushing against they door, only to find that the paper towel receptacle is all the way across the rest room. This of course if the establishment had the common sense to install a paper towell dispenser.
Now not trying to be anal about cleansing hands but if places are going to post information about the washing your hands and the transmisison of germs should they not be responsible themselves for making sure that all that can be done, in this regard, is done correctly.
So why wash your hands when you still have to touch a dirty door on the way out?
